Ancient Wisdom for the Life We Live

A Centre for Conscious Living

Atlantis Centre brings spiritual and metaphysical education into conversation with everyday life: who we are, the patterns we repeat, the choices we make and the deeper meaning we seek.

At the heart of the Centre are eighteen lectures developed and presented by founder Bob Poll. Arranged into two connected series, with nine programs in each, they bring together ancient wisdom traditions, the study of consciousness and practical reflection on the human condition.

This is a place to listen, question and consider ideas freely. The purpose is to deepen self-understanding and encourage conscious, compassionate choices, while leaving each person responsible for their own conclusions.

Eighteen Programs · Two Connected Pathways

Two Complete Spiritual Education Series

The first series explores the human condition and inner liberation. The second opens into wider spiritual teachings about consciousness, the soul and the greater reality.

Each series has its own progression. Together, they invite a continuing enquiry: how might a deeper understanding of life change the way we live it?

Two rivers joining in a green valley

Series One · Programs 1–9

The Human Condition & Finding Liberation

Begin with awakening, balance and the search for the self. Explore the Mirror Within, the Spiritual Matrix, duality and repeating patterns, before moving through After Atlantis, love, forgiveness and Soul Alchemy.

The journey asks what can be recognised in our own experience, what can be retained as wisdom, and what we may be ready to release.

Series Two · Programs 10–18

The Greater Reality Series

Explore consciousness, karma and choice, hidden dimensions and the Inner Temple. Continue through Mystery Schools, dimensions of consciousness, sacred architecture, soul memory and the Return to the One.

These spiritual and metaphysical models invite reflection on the soul’s journey, humanity’s relationship with the sacred and the idea of unity within diversity.

Our Educational Foundation

A Grounded and Non-Dogmatic Approach

Spiritual enquiry can be open and thoughtful at the same time. Atlantis encourages curiosity, discernment and personal responsibility, without requiring allegiance to a single teaching or presenter.

Freedom to Question

Ask for clarification, compare perspectives and consider what carries meaning for you. A lecture offers material for enquiry; your judgment remains your own.

The Middle Path

Explore spiritual ideas with openness and care. Atlantis values the ability to hold different perspectives, recognise their limits and avoid turning a model into a rigid belief.

Wisdom in Everyday Life

Insight becomes useful through honesty, compassion and conscious choice. The lectures return to the relationships, responsibilities and recurring patterns of ordinary human experience.

Clear Educational Boundaries

Esoteric teachings are explored as spiritual and philosophical models, rather than established scientific or historical fact. The programs support learning and reflection; they do not replace professional care.

The Learning Experience

Substantial Teaching · Questions · Reflection

Programs are designed to give ideas enough time and space to be properly explored. Attendees can listen closely, ask for clarification, compare perspectives and return to the material through accompanying Attendee Papers.

The aim is not passive belief. It is thoughtful participation: understanding the material, considering how it relates to life, and deciding for yourself what carries meaning and value.

The lectures are designed to create space for meaningful engagement. By allowing time for substantial teaching, pauses for reflection and opportunities for clarification, Atlantis Centre gives participants a more thoughtful learning environment than a brief inspirational talk or a purely promotional event.

Experience, Perspective and Practical Understanding

Because Bob’s background spans both spiritual enquiry and practical business life, he understands the need to communicate deeper material in a way that remains grounded, relatable and useful. His work is not confined to abstract philosophy; it continually returns to patterns of behaviour, relationships, responsibility and the development of inner maturity.

This balance between contemplation and practical application gives Atlantis Centre its character. The aim is not only to explore important ideas, but to help people recognise what those ideas may reveal about themselves, their choices and the larger meaning of the life they are living.

Two Life Paths, Brought Together

Bob’s background brings together more than three decades of spiritual and metaphysical study with four decades in mechanical engineering, business leadership and environmental innovation. One path explored consciousness, meaning and the soul; the other required practical systems, persistence and real-world responsibility.

Atlantis is where those paths meet. Bob develops and presents the Centre’s eighteen lectures, connecting substantial spiritual ideas with the challenges, relationships and choices of everyday life.

His style is conversational, with room for questions and clarification. He shares material he has studied and reflected upon, encouraging participants to examine ideas independently and relate them to their own experience.

Bob’s role is to support enquiry. Each participant remains the responsible authority within their own spiritual journey.

More Than Three Decades of Spiritual Study

Bob’s formal spiritual and metaphysical studies began in 1992 and have continued across a broad field of Eastern and Western teachings. His long-term enquiry has included Rosicrucian and Hermetic traditions, Vedanta, Theosophy, Anthroposophy, Gurdjieff and Ouspensky, Alice Bailey, Helena Blavatsky, Rudolf Steiner, consciousness studies, archetypes and sacred geometry.

Rather than asking people to adopt a fixed doctrine, Bob brings these streams together as material for reflection and comparison. His emphasis is on the Middle Path: remaining open enough to explore an idea, while grounded enough to question it, test it against experience and retain personal responsibility for one’s own conclusions.

Many Streams of Wisdom

Eastern and Western Traditions in Conversation

The lectures draw on a broad field of spiritual thought, bringing different traditions into a shared enquiry while respecting their differences.

A Continuing Field of Study

Bob’s studies include Vedanta, Theosophy, Anthroposophy, Hermetic and Rosicrucian traditions, the Masonic tradition and AMORC. They also include the work of Gurdjieff and Ouspensky, Alice Bailey, Helena Blavatsky and Rudolf Steiner.

From Inherited Teachings to Inner Responsibility

Across the programs, ancient wisdom, Mystery Schools, consciousness, archetypes and sacred geometry become subjects for thoughtful exploration. Atlantis approaches these streams as a treasury to study and question, with no single system treated as a complete explanation of life.

The aim is to bring learning back to conscience, discernment and responsible action: what does an idea help us understand, and how might that understanding affect the way we live?

Background to the Educational Work

Bob’s wider areas of study and practice have included metaphysical and mind-body approaches, spiritual philosophy, Rekindled Ancient Wisdom, consciousness coaching, soul alignment, spiritual counselling, Atlantean Healing, mindfulness meditation and business coaching.

This background helps explain the breadth of experience informing Bob’s work and the wide field of study that sits behind Atlantis Centre’s spiritual and metaphysical education.

Bob brings together more than three decades of independent spiritual study with a practical background in engineering, entrepreneurship and environmental innovation. That combination gives his work an unusual balance of enquiry and structure: exploring substantial ideas while continually asking how they can be understood, questioned and applied in ordinary life.

Across Eastern and Western traditions, consciousness studies, archetypes and sacred geometry, Bob’s emphasis remains on clear explanation, personal responsibility and freedom of thought. Atlantis Centre reflects that approach by creating space for people to listen, compare perspectives, ask questions and reach their own considered conclusions.

Engineering · Innovation · Responsibility

Pioneering the Rubber Recycling Industry

Before Atlantis became his principal focus, Bob built a forty-year career in engineering, business and environmental innovation.

Turning Ideas into Working Systems

Bob developed an integrated approach to rubber-waste collection, processing, engineering and market development. His work included new recycling technologies and a practical multistage method for turning waste tyres into useful rubber materials.

Leadership and a New Chapter

He assisted government bodies with rubber-waste recycling policy and served for two years on the ATRA board. He later divested his business interests to a multinational recycling company, creating greater space for the spiritual and educational work developing alongside his professional life.

The experience of taking an idea through to practical application continues to inform his teaching: insight matters most when it can be brought into the way we think, choose and act.
